I have googled this question because it has been a while since I was in high school and I may not be correct in high school is, well, supposed to help kids with future paths after high school.
Someone told me that they have spoken to kids who have graduated from this small rural school - where an average graduating class is about 35 kids - and that these kids have said that going to college was never, NEVER brought up to them at this school.
Huh?
I know they ship 11th graders off on a couple of college round-ups.
Maybe I should go on the bus and see how that is working out.

Here is my protest sign that I carried last year.
This is the final tally for the year for scheduled on-campus visits.
This saddens me.
I heard a story on the radio tonight and it mentioned that if a person wants to aim for middle-class in this country - they will need a college degree.
Middle Class.
College Degree.
Not Upper-Class.
Middle-Class.
